The rules of the dress:
Cream and emerald green.
Medieval/Gothic style
Full length
Has to look and "feel" like a wedding dress.
NOT over £1,500 - and I get the feeling that's going to come down rather than go up. *sigh*
With this in mind - site spam!
http://www.lindsayfleming.com/arran.htm - B, but with emerald green detailing if at all possible.
http://www.lindsayfleming.com/iona.htm - Again, B with emerald green if at all possible.
http://www.lindsayfleming.com/ros.htm - Emerald green with silver detailing. That is quite close to my original "dream dress". And! http://www.lindsayfleming.com/real%20life%20-%20jill.htm - Green and silver!
http://www.verymerryseamstress.com/pictures/mary01.jpg - Similar to the others, but beautifully simple...
On the bridesmaid front:
http://www.verymerryseamstress.com/pictures/robina01.jpg - Perfect. As soon as I laid eyes on it I was blown away, THAT is how perfect it is. Simple, but in keeping with the theme that's developing in my head. Wow.

The FAQ Type Stuff
This is my gorgeous fiance. Cute isn't he. First person to make a comment about his fur gets hurt *laughs* He's surprisingly relaxed about the whole wedding, except the fact that we *are* getting married. THAT he's wonderfully delighted about.
So, the FAQ:
How did he propose?
He asked me in the living room of his parents house when I was half asleep on the sofa, a month after we started dating properly. (It's at this point I should interject we have known each other for over five years, been best friends for the same amount of time, and its been somewhat of an in-joke with our friends that we were always meant to be together, it just took us a while to get around to it.) He hadn't bought a ring yet, because he wanted me to have some input on it, and together we picked it out.
When's the wedding?
August 2009, after I finish University... well, 2009 anyway. The date is a little fluid at the moment, due to the fact my mother came up with a rather brilliant idea - that we should get married at Goth Weekend. That falls on Easter - close to my birthday and our anniversary - and Hallowe'en - nuff said. The practicalities of this are a bit daunting however!
Where did you two meet?
At college - 16-18 education in England. We immediately hit it off and have been friends for years.
Can we see the ring?
Sure. *giggles* He bought me matching pretties for Christmas.

Post Number the First
Ok, so this is my "partner really doesn't know about this blog honest" blog, for my wedding plans.
A little about me:
I'm 22, a student (Politics Degree), currently living with my parents but househunting with my fiance. He is also 22, unemployed due to disability, which is also the reason he currently lives with *his* parents.
So there's your first problem: Finding the money for the wedding. Trust me, there's more. I'll tinker with the site settings and tell you more *smiles*.
